WooHoo a whole 8 people are following my blog, so I'm super excited to start writing less than average blog posts for you all to follow:) I leave for Italy tomorrow. Holy Moly. But the past couple have days have been absolutely fabulous if I must say so. My birthday (which is July 10 ;)) is going to occur while I am away in Rome, so my mother scheduled a birthday trip for her, my grandmother, and I at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando. It was so great. You could eat an unlimited amount of blueberry yogurt covered pretzels and you could use 7 towels if you wanted and not feel guilty. It was wonderful. They even had shaving cream that smelled like grapefruit. And before you go assuming we spent a ridiculous amount of money while pretending to be so fabulous for a day, you must know that they were running a special at the spa, and since it was a weekday we got them at a discounted rate :)
I leave tomorrow at 1:55 pm, and I arrive in Rome the next morning at around 9:30. My teacher sent out a special e-mail regarding a soccer game.... The UEFA EURO 2012 Final is on Sunday at 8:45 pm and guess who is playing... Italy. So our teacher has warned or rather enlightened us that there will be an immense amount of celebration throughout the country and that it will be a lovely and exciting first night!
Since wine is cheaper than water in Italy, I wanted to learn to say "More Wine Please" in Italian:
