Fragola (Strawberry)

Good Morning:) So this morning, I woke up and showered, then walked downstairs to the store to buy strawberries for breakfast...they have literally every fruit BUT strawberries. & of course I didn't know how to ask if they had them, so I settled for some Kiwi. When I came back to the apartment, my roommate was cooking eggs on our glass top, gas lit stove...and clearly we don't really know how to use some things here still. I was in my room and all of the sudden I heard a scream and a loud crash, so I assumed the kitchen was on fire or something crazy...I walked in and the glass top had literally exploded all over the kitchen. So clearly, day one is off to a great start, and I may or may not be very afraid of ever using our stove in the future.

Last night we had a 3 course meal and it was delicious. We each got our own bruschetta for the first course, gnocchi for the second, some type of roast beef and potatoes for the third, and wine, lots and lots of red wine. After dinner some of us went to an outdoor bar on the river and watched the second half of the Italy vs. Spain game...which we lost. Tonight is the Deadmau5 concert, which for those of you who don't know is like house music. I'm nervous but excited for it, there is about 8 of us or so going so it should be fun.

This morning we have orientation at 9:45 and we are finally going to get to see where everything is, because our Carefour/sketch winn dixie is not cutting it right now.
